A significant day

the previous owners of our home have built a new house next door and yesterday, moved in. We have been looking after their cat so the time has come to see if we are able to rehouse him back with his owners.  Watch this space!!!
The dog in this photo is Joe, our neighbours dog.  He has been living with them on their rental property but is now living next door in his new home and today decided he would visit us and introduce  himself to the bottle fed lamb who is with us for a few day because Kate, who lives down the road and is looking after him, is away on school camp so we are feeding him. It is all very complicated.

Nickel the cat needs to be rehoused so that is our main focus.  Next week we will take all our comfortable outdoor furniture away and take Nickel up to his new home, then we will go away in our caravan for a few days in the hope he understands he no longer lives here. Our families have bets on how successful this will be :-))
