River of Flowers

Church Bay, Anglesey

Wind, rain and greyness when I set off to meet up with my friend H this morning. The temperature was only 7 degrees (45 Fahrenheit). By the time we got to Church Bay it was pouring with rain and a howling gale whipping the sea up with breakers crashing onto the headland and beach.

We had a lovely natter and delicious lunch at the Wavecrest Cafe. The rain had eased of a bit so we ventured down the road to the beach, but it was very rough so after a few quick photos we went back to the car, and the rain started off again.

I put some washing on the line when I got home late afternoon and it was dry a couple of hours later. We are now sitting in front of the fire, the heating has been on too and it is absolutely chucking it down with rain, made worse by the strong wind.
