This is Not an Aspen!

It’s a birch tree!
Thanks to blipfoto ‘pipers mom’ commenting, a few days ago when I posted an earlier photo of this tree and titled it ‘Aspen’, that their aspens don’t look like this, I double check and, sure enough, I had reversed what the gardeners had told me when I asked about this tree.  We don’t have many birch trees around here but they are beautiful any time of year with their white papery bark and, in the fall, golden leaves.
