The Late Lobelia

Today we had more time than expected after our Ukulele class, and the evening Jam were cancelled as our teacher is unwell. This meant we were able  to attend the AGM and Members Evening of Winchester GoLD ( Group for adults with learning disabilities) which is always a joyful  affair. Janet, one  of the Trustees was retiring after forty years devoted to improving the opportunities for  people who are learning disabled . The Members did a "This is Your  Life" presentation for her, which was  wonderful. They also performed  three pop songs, by  singing and  signing in Makaton sign language, to the music,  conducted by Steve of "Sign with Steve" , who regularly coaches them.
This afternoon we spent  a bit of time in the garden, after the  rain had stopped,  tidying up and planting the last  spring bulbs. I was happy to find this little Lobelia plant still thriving and blooming.
