Flooding in the Forest

A benefit of having difficulty hearing is when the rain tip taps on the Motorhome roof most of the night and I didn’t hear a thing.

Sadly V did.

A very slow start to the day followed by a walk a short distance from our site.

We had planned to go further but the normally meandering river has burst its banks and flooded pockets of woodland along its course.

Proved to be a great playground.

Now back at the Motorhome and although the weather forecast showed no further rain the heavy pitter patter of rain is again hitting our roof.

Been a good day.
