Turkish baths Harrogate

Woke up this morning feeling the worse for wear - we rarely get a chance to let our hair down but suffered for it. Found a nice independent cafe for breakfast which helped. We had the Turkish baths booked for 12 pm. Harrogate is a Royal Bath town, mineral springs were discovered which were developed into healing bath waters for the town. Today none of the baths exist bar the Turkish baths built during victorian times. They have a beautiful moorish design with Islamic arches and screens.

It was a fantastic experience, the most notable being the cold plunge pool, which instantaneously cleared my foggy head
