Back in the UK

Coming through the tunnel always feels like sneaking into the country via the back door.

Set the clocks back 40 years! We can feel Europe moving on and leaving Blighty behind. It no longer feels at all expensive to live on the continent. Everyday necessities are much cheaper - bread, milk, fuel. Business is thriving and even worries about the mess-up with reliance on Russian gas and oil seems to have vanished. But most of all, the UK has simply become an irrelevance.
