New Edge

My blip is the edge of a gravel area on the development which is for the fire brigade to get access to several houses.  The builder had put on a wooden edge which went rotten, so needed to be replaced.  The garden chap had told me it was done so I went for a quick look.  It makes the whole area look very tidy and hopefully will last much longer.
 
Most of our day was taken clearing our neighbor behinds garden (again).  We got quite a bit of stuff out of the garden and bagged up and did several runs to the tip.  It was all so wet, muddy and with quite a bit of dog poo around.  Things which had been left in the garden, probably for years, had started to rot down and we both felt like we needed a good shower after and our cloths need a wash. 



We have more to clear but it does look much better already.  I am not sure how usable we are going to be able to get the garden for her.  It seems the dog does not go out for walks that much and they allow the dog to toilet all over it and no one seems to pick it up.  However, we said we would help and we are helping. It does feel like there needs to be a conversation about her ability to keep the dog (I think it was her boyfriends but they have split up).  We will see how things go and if we can drop it into a conversation at some point.  I think we have a few busy weekends coming up but hope to get a bit more done before the year end.
