I went to Antonio's flat before our row. He is the fellow rower I was paired with for Katherine's PhD and we had our weekly discussion then. His flat is on the prom and this is the view from his window.
The row was lovely! Katya was also in the crew and I am glad that she wants to start rowing again. I coxed the launch - the sea was perfect but I feel I need more practice before going out in anything but perfect conditions. 
After rowing Katya and I had a late, and lengthy, lunch. Then I went to her flat with her - she and her flatmates got pet rats that she was pleased to show me.
