The grandchildren and their parents are finally all healthy again and we’re able to come over and help decorate our tree. After some time to play we headed to the parade, our first small town parade and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A small truck drove by first handing out free hot chocolate and then the parade began. Of course lots of fire trucks and tractors, a couple of marching bands and the local clubs and schools with their floats. The weather was mild and the atmosphere very festive. It was an evening parade which meant lots of Christmas lights. After that we came home for some chill which was simmering in the crock pot.
