Duller than candlelight

For today’s MonoMonday theme of candlelight with thanks to Heanku for hosting.
Actually quite a nice day after early morning rain clear skies.
A visit to the roof space ( not pleasant ) for boxes containing Christmas decorations lead to me installing some high tech thermal insulation to a vertical portion which had none. WHY IS 20% vat on thermal insulation ?
Glad to tick that job off as its been put off for a long while.
Off to cook super which is a sort of cross between risotto and paella ( arborio rice but incorporating chorizo porcine mushrooms peppers etc.)
