Acts of deliberate notice

Impressive

Way back in the summer, I requested as a birthday present a woodworking day with my incredibly talented brother. With a lot of help (and a lot of holes not working quite as they should) I created a plain wooden flower press.

In exchange for taking up a dress for brother's partner V - who demanded I have some form of payment - I requested her to paint some flowers on the top of my press. I expected maybe a little design in the middle, nothing fancy.

The result was this stunning creation. V is also incredibly talented, and the transaction is now terribly unequal. Trying to work out how many more items of clothing I need to alter for her to pay off this impossibly beautiful piece of art...
