Local cinema.

We are so lucky to have a local cinema with 3 screens and a wide range of films. Our local film club goes there every fortnight to watch many films that never go on general release and we see many foreign films. Tonight we saw Terry Gilliam's The Man who killed Don Quixote. I loved it, a long film of adventure, mediaeval fantasy, high drama, exotic sets and a cracking pace. It made me laugh out loud and was a real tonic as for the whole evening it was pure escapism from the dreadful news we are hearing daily on the radio.. Much much better than a film showing tragedy and reality!
