Cupola things not right...

...one, I've changed the orientation of the image just to challenge perceptions - that's the arty bit. And two, its not normally that green colour.

This is the cupola in the booking hall at Waverley station. They are re-glazing the entire roof area of Waverley as part of a £130 million upgrade to the station and now they appear to be working on this part which is the original Victorian building built by the North British Railway. The scaffolding meant that the coffee booth that sat underneath the cupola had to be removed and, at a stroke, rendered thousands of commuters and business people unable to function properly for several hours due to caffeine deficiency.
