Do you like my fan?

Not many lily pads left.  The weed chopper was going while I was kayaking on Cross Creek.  I've never seen one in operation before - photo in extra.  
Everything grows so fast here and clogs up the waterways.  I get why they do it and to me its better than spraying herbicides.  But I was hunting bladderworts and they were all chopped to bits.  The Gallinules seem to take the commotion in stride.  On weekends Cross Creek is used by airboats to reach Lochloosa Lake, so just another loud machine to them.
