Mandarin

More magical birds today, this time Trent-side. A mandarin duck, I've seen nearby about a year ago. Highlight was a curlew (I think) in flight just above the water, then landing - never seen one of those before, and in danger of extinction. I was spellbound, hence no picture (the way it should be)

Aptly, am loving the band Modern Nature which I only just come across - highly recommended listen
