Berry Paradise

I had heard that there were waxwings on the rowan trees on Beeston Common so decided to wander over there twice today. Neither trip bore any fruit (!!) but here is a blackbird on one of the trees and flying off with a rowan berry in its beak! 

There were so many berries that I will go back and see if the waxwings return soon.
