I intended to go into Kendal. There are some important jobs I need to do there. It was a cold misty start to the day and when I looked at the cars and saw frost on the windows I changed my mind.

Instead I walked up onto Loughrigg. Above the inversion, great views and much warmer than down in Ambleside. I ticked another tarn off my list too. It’s one I’ve walked to numerous times before but I can still count it as part of the tarnbagging challenge.

I’ve added a few extras.
