That's torn it!

After 14 years wear, my Converse shoes bite the dust! OK, they haven't been worn every day. In fact, they didn't give much service in the early years - they were a little too big and never a firm favourite. But latterly, they became excellent gardening shoes with their comfy thick sole and decent grip. So, it's particularly sad to have to consign them to the bin. Not sure what's going to replace them!

Rain threatened again for most of the day and it was even windier and colder than yesterday, Tuesday's sunshine but a distant memory. We did get a few light showers this morning and later this afternoon.
