Women

At the moment I'm reading "The Testaments" by Margaret Atwood and this afternoon I went to see "She Said" at the Cameo.

She Said is a powerful film about the film producer Harvey Weinstein's long term abuse and bullying of women.  The story follows the determined investigation of two New York Times journalists.  

The Testaments is Margaret Atwood's prize winning followup to The Handmaid's Tale.  It's set 15 years after the original novel in the horrific world of the Republic of Gilead where women are subjugated and have no rights at all in the male dominated society.
