Festive timbrels

The Women’s group had their Christmas lunch today and just before they started, some of the ladies were jazzing up the timbrels for Christmas, putting on tassels and lights. Loved that they let me take a pic of them.

I got invited to join the ladies for lunch, very sweet of them. It was my first Christmas meal for this year.

A small ensemble of the Brass Band will be playing at Nambour Plaza for the next few weeks, carolling. And today was the first one for this season. I went along to watch them after I finished work. They were very good, and really brought in the Christmas spirit in the Plaza. Very nice.

And today is the first day of summer … and it was freezing at 15C!!!!
