Cicada Nymph

While digging in a part of the back lawn that hasn’t been dug up for years, my son found this cicada nymph. As we usually only see the variable, or little grass cicada, (blipped 10 days ago) it must be one of that tribe. I was surprised and delighted that they actually breed in my garden, but felt sad that it had been disturbed.
