Ice Blue

A bit of a postcard shot I suppose, but I liked the cloud formation overhead. The lake was mostly frozen over and the ice had some nice patterns in it, although I couldn't make anything of them.

I tend not to shot in this direction because I don't like to include buildings in my images. Which brings to mind a discussion I listened to about making pretty pictures by excluding the mundane or down right ugly. I shot this as a 16:9, but I wanted more sky, so I made it 16:10.
