Around the island

This is the first day of the long National Day weekend holiday. Friends invited us on their boat to circumnavigate Abu Dhabi island. We started at the Club (last extra) and went around anti-clockwise. The Extras are:
1. The Louvre, with the new Zayed museum in the back ground
2. The cornice from the Gulf (main)
3. Emirates Palace (hotel), and the new Royal Palaces on the right
4. Bab AlQasr, and Etihad Towers
5. Hudariyat Bridge
6. Capital Gate Tower
7. Al Maqta tower, the original crossing point onto the island
8. Al Reem Island
9. Reem Gate Tower on the left
10. Back to Al Nadi Tower. 

A great day out, only disappointed that you can no longer see the Grand Mosque due to new developments.
