Pause For Refreshment

This was certainly not what I was expecting to (ever) see! We are spending the weekend in Pennsylvania, at Pocono Raceway for yet another SCCA event.

Frankly, there's not much to look at here, unless you like asphalt, race trailers, cars, and wire fencing ... I'm sure my husband would disagree, but there you are!

As I was taking the dogs for their morning walk, I spied an odd pile of what looked like wreckage dumped in a parking area off in the distance. When I got closer to it, I was astonished to find this bizarre collection of discarded TVs -- and one remote control. They had just endured a cloudburst, so there was a refreshing sheen of water droplets perking them up.
