Road Trip

We had a wee road trip today to Stronachlachar....... and a nice lunch in the cafe there.  The scenery is lovely on the way, after Aberfoyle we pass Loch Ard, and then Loch Chon, and on to Loch Arklet, all lovely lochs.  The Victorians engineered a water supply for the city of Glasgow from this area.  One thing that has always interested me are the iron mileage markers all along the road from Aberfoyle to Stronachlachar,, which are a mile apart.  I have blipped one.  They are very old and of course not needed nowadays but is a reminder industry of the people in the reign of Queen Victoria.

The large photo is of Loch Arklet, and the two smaller ones are of Loch Ard....... I do love reflections

We came home via the garden centre, which was very busy and full of Christmas stuff, some tacky, some rather nice.
