Himalayan Birch

It isn't always leaves that make a tree stand out.  These Himalayan Birch are at Weston Park, which we'd visited for the Christmas Fayre.  It was really busy on a crisp sunny December morning, and I must admit I would have preferred to spend time away from the marquees and stalls, which were heaving with people.  Not my kind of thing, I much prefer solitude.
