Hall One

Managed to get a late ticket to see my new find Modern Nature play at Kings Place, that I've long wished to visit. Usually a 3 or 4 piece band, tonight was special expanded to 6 with the addition of a bass clarinet and pianist for this last tour gig in the UK.

Mesmerising music from start to end and the double bass player in particular. he used so many techniques and variations including playing with the base end of his bow (see extra) and plucking the strings near the top of the neck.

Kings Place associate musicians include The Orchestra of the age of enlightenment, The Sixteen, and The Brodsky Quartet; the former two I've seen at The Minster. Also home to another treasure The Guardian & The Observer newspapers.

Another amazing gig that I will savour to eternity.

same track as the other day...
