Visiting Croft 3

a new restaurant only twenty minutes from home by car. It is a converted byre on the west side of Mull with stunning views in all directions, the tree above is growing next to the car park.

A friend booked a table for Sunday lunch, a party of six, it was excellent, proper roast potatoes, very tasty beef and a number of different vegetables, all cooked as you would at home. No frills or pomp, all diners booked in for 1.00, no starter and bring your bottle. Mother cooked and her son waited on looking after 13 diners in a relaxed fashion. A simple set up that appeared to work well.

The day started with a hard frost and clear blue sky, a stunning drive over the hill road to croft 3,

First extra was taken on the drive home at 3.00, the second two on the way out the croft 3.
