Sport on Sunday

As I arrived on the playing field the womens’ teams were warming up for their West Riding County League Shield cup tie between Republica International (Div II) and Horsforth StMargarets (Div III). Unfortunately the drizzle set in and I didn’t hang around for kick-off.

I passed a couple of games already in progress. The greens V The Red stripes match had players who ranged widely in age and size, a sort of men & boys versus men & boys.
