Cosy fire

So this evening B came over and we walked the dogs across the fields. Dark and cold so we decided to have the first fire of the season. B is good at getting a good blizzy going. Using the silver birch logs from when my two trees were trimmed down ‘topped’ so they don’t get too tall. We had stir fry chicken, cashew nuts, peppers, onions and rice. B said it was the best I ever made! The dogs are snoozing now.
