Ready for work

I went to work today. Invigilating again. It did get cold in this sports hall but I was able to keep walking around. I did two sessions, RE and History.
A boy in the history exam put up his hand and when I got to him he pointed to the word aristocracy and asked me if I knew what it meant and I said yes. He asked me if I would tell him and I said no! I think he tried another invigilator. At the end of the exam I suggested he looked up the word in the dictionary. He turned and quite happily said 'I know what it was, it meant peasants!" 'No! it's the opposite " I said and the poor lads face fell.
