Apples...

We've had a busy day, it was off to Saffron Walden for some banking business... We are customers of Cambridge Water and we were delighted to receive a letter from them on Saturday. To cut a very long story shore they informed us that all their Direct Debit customer data had been stolen in a cyber attack and subsequently posted on the Dark Web. This included names, addresses, sort codes and account numbers. Amazingly this happened back in August but they only bothered to tell us on Saturday.

The Bank were very helpful, apparently they are unable to stop a fraudulent DD being set up but they are able to recall any monies stolen by this means.
