Kes Update

Kes was perched on the boilerhouse chimney when we went for our morning walk. He let us get quite close before he took off.

As we walked along south of disused glasshouse thirteen I heard, Tick, tick, tick tick, tick, tick. The alarm call of a wren. I was struggling to pinpoint it when I looked up and there was Kes looking down at me. No wonder the wren was making a fuss.

He flew across the field and landed in a field maple where he was joined by a goldfinch. Maybe he's just getting used to sharing space with us rather than ailing?
