The Emperors New Clothes

I am in London today . I met my friend Beth to go to the Saatchi Gallery to see Collect- work from galleries in Europe. Well, I have to say a lot of the work was SO pretentious. This is Beth standing before a 'necklace' made of saw blades and broken bottles. Price?..... Go on guess ...... £15,000 - yes, you saw right....£15,000- we were in hysterics.
There was also some gorgeous jewellery but all at huge prices
I am now having supper with Kate on South Bank, celebrating her getting a fantastic new job. So happy for her- she really deserves it after three interviews and a lot if hard work.
