Wednesday Girls on a Tuesday

It was a cold and frosty morning, but we were up bright and early and off to our walking club AGM.  It was a good meeting and all was considered to be well.  We all paid our dues and also for our next walking break in February.  Then we all adjourned for coffee.

The Wednesday Girls had our Christmas Lunch today so some of us who were at the AGM hung around for a bit then headed to the venue where we met up with the others.  A super Christmas lunch, the chef really pulled out all the stops, and even though it was the middle of the day we all (except the drivers) had a tipple or two.  Great chat, we have known each other for a long time now and although we no longer walk together we love our get togethers.

Didn't get home till 4pm...... it was a long lunch!

I blipped an extra collage of some of the food, it was so good.  I had the clapshot and haggis to start, and then the salmon en croute, which was to die for.  There was a varied menu, and we all finished with mince pies and coffee/tea..... although some opted to stay on the wine!
