At home: lemon & lime cake... X

The kitchen has the delicious smell of lemons and limes this evening. I am on a baking mission. Of all the cakes that come out of thew kitchen here, every taster says, "when are you doing another Lemon and Lime cake? "

Cakes for me are a way of filling up a lunch box, something sweet in the tin, giving one away to a relative or a friend. They are also a way of using up the chickens eggs. The chickens are still on laying over drive, its amazing the cold wind and blustery weather isn't putting them off laying.

There are 3 loaf tins in the oven. One for the tin, One for a gift, the other for visitors....x
