Avalanche

Last night's sharp frost and temperatures down to minus 4C caused many trees to shed their remaining leaves creating a colourful carpet on the ground which with a dry atmosphere might last a few days. Bright Winter sunshine followed today while it remained chilly in the shade. I'm behind with commenting after going to a music gig last night to see  the trio St Agnes Fountain present their Christmas programme of excellent harmonies both vocally and musically. They comprise  the outstanding multi-talented musician Chris Leslie of Fairport Convention fame plus the accomplished Julie Matthews and Chris Wilde well established singer songwriters in their own right.
