Dead Pines

My colleague for the day "I" takes a particular interest in woodland landscape. This is just a couple of many dead pine trees on this part of the hillside. He has also worked with a scientist dealing in this field.There seems general recognition that a lot of bonny looking trees are dying and there is no obvious reason. He was fair vexed at the examples on our site today
