Caution Tech Stuff: The snail was taken as an HDR an is almost a meter high. The garden was 3 different light painted shots placed into layers in Photoshop along with the HDR composite of the snail. The light painted garden shots were added via screen blending mode. After knocking out the snail from his original background I added an extra mask and started painting parts of him out so he looked to be in the foliage. Added a little hand painted vignette to the corners and sides...
