Frosty hydrangea

My purple hydrangea has changed colour with the cold weather and is now a tawny red. This morning’s sharp frost sparkled on the crisp petals but eventually the temperature rose above freezing for a short while.
I spent the day at home, putting out more Christmas decorations, and cooking our weekly joint, shifted from Sunday because of N’s choir commitment.
