Horsey Dunes

A glorious frosty day and we are back at Horsey doing our second Seal Warden duty on the Dunes.  Things have got busy since our last shift and the Friends of Horsey Seals have had to close part of the Norfolk Coast Path  further south from our position because of a number of young pups and Mum's coming over the dunes on to the path and viewing platforms. There was a weaned pup and a very stroppy mother seal close to us and it was our job to (politely) keep the public away from this pair for the protection of them and the humans out for a walk. Everyone we spoke to was respectful and helpful, even asking questions about the seals.
This shot is from the top of the dunes looking southwest, inland towards the setting sun. Behind me is the beach and a huge number of seals.
