Golden

The light was beautiful this evening and turned the remaining leaves in the park to gold.

Felt a bit washed out first thing but did a bit of sorting in the flat and then walked along the canal to Dowley Gap with Lurkio to take some stuff to the tip and back along the river to Myrtle Park. Saw a kingfisher, heron, cormorant, dipper and 2 birds of prey (not quite sure what they were). Called for a pint on the way home. The pub was toasty warm, didn't want to go back out into the cold!
