The Old School

This former high school was built in 1911, and the 111 year old structure will be demolished any day now. The building was neglected for over 20 years, and the school board has suddenly decided that it would be too expensive to renovate the century old school, so it must be immediately torn down. They plan to replace this historical building with a parking lot. Of course, many people in the community are angry, but their protests have made no difference. I decided to photograph the place before it is destroyed.
