Bedfellows

Our houseguest turned out to be a bit of a restless sleeper. More specifically she likes to get under the covers, then gets too warm so gets out of the bed, then wants to return. So this is how I woke up this morning and an early night has been called for - and not just because it’s about to be the last week of term.

Bernie has been very good company though. We walked in the murk first thing and then I was worried that she wouldn’t settle while I worked but she did. Another walk this afternoon and she was picked up a bit after five. Bailey has missed her this evening, I think but we’ll both be glad to have the bed to ourselves tonight.
