Descending into the mist

A trip across the moors today for an orienteering event based at Wilton Golf club. We set off in sunshine but as we started to drop down into Castleton I had to stop off for a photo. Liked the sun on the Bracken and old stone fence posts looking down onto a sea of mist. The frost in the foreground gives an indication of the temperatures.

Fortunately even though we descended into the mist we came out the other side into sunshine. We both enjoyed the course and I even spotted Father Christmas returning to his workshop after a round of golf (see extra).
