On The Road Again

We are getting familiar with the highway to Christchurch via The Lewis Pass having done it a few times recently.  Todays trip was in sunshine and we stopped at the carpark/trial head for our picnic.  By U.S standards this is a small camper but they are popular here.  I think there were four women and a bloke in this one.  In the extra they are studying the map before setting off on a steep walk above the bush line.  I suppose steep is relative but I would never consider it.
Tomorrow we will visit my sister who has now moved to Burwood Hospital.  Tonight it is dinner out with friends who we have known since our son's were at kindergarten.  A previous blip had the forester helping them move an extremely long beam for their house alterations.
