Wound up in Wexford

Frost on frost

Another cold day.  I don't believe we've actually had any snow, but the accumulation of frost layers on some of the plants and leaves certainly gives the impression.

I walked down to the hairdresser, with a clanking bag full of empty bottles and jars for the bottle bank.

Bought bread to bring back.

A brief sojourn in the sewing room tacking EPP diamonds made me think about sewers in the Victorian era, who probably did much of their fine detailed work with cold fingers by candlelight - much respect!  I shall do the more detailed sewing in our lounge, which isn't as warm as we'd like, but is reasonably comfortable.
