Full steam ahead!

Each week I volunteer to help pupils aged 6 and 7 with their reading at a local Primary school.

This afternoon we went to Threlkeld Mining museum near Keswick by coach.

Imagine the excitement when we were invited to go on a Santa Steam Train ride. And we did find Santa...and he did give each child a present!

I managed to get a photo ( without any children in it ) of the engine. The mountain behind is Blencathra...note the blue sky, too!

A great afternoon trip!!!
