Hello Dad!

OK, so not the best photo of the night sky, but there’s a story behind this. When my Dad died, my brother & sister-in-law bought a star in his name. To make it easy to spot the bit of sky it’s in, they picked a star located below Orion’s Belt, which would have made Dad laugh, as it’s a little below the belt.

This time of year, Orion reappears in the night sky at the same time as our evening walk, so I get to wave hello to Dad. This photo is a reminder of the view tonight.
